GMC Radiator

When you are driving, the engine is continuously running and that would mean the fuel is also constantly burning. This heat is usually dispersed to the exhaust system but sometimes, because the process is imperfect, it can cause the engine to overheat. This is the reason why the cooling system is necessary. The primary function of the cooling system is to keep the engine from overheating by transferring this heat to the air. And for that, the GMC Radiator is very much needed.

It is also the task of the cooling system allow the engine to heat up as quickly as possible, and then to keep the engine at a constant temperature. Several components work together to do that job like the water pump, thermostat, transmission cooling lines, radiator and others. The GMC Radiator is like a heat exchanger designed to transfer heat from the hot coolant that flows through it to the air blown through it by the fan. The radiator is usually made by soldering thin aluminum fins to flattened aluminum tubes. The coolant flows from the inlet to the outlet thru tubes mounted in a parallel arrangement. Together with the water, the coolant passes thru the engine and is propelled by the water pump to the radiator via the radiator hose. The grille opening allows the outside air to enter and it cools the water before it goes back to the engines via another hose. The fins conduct the heat from the tubes and transfer it to the air flowing through the radiator.

Realizing the importance of your GMC Radiator makes you appreciate it more. Get GMC Radiators that are premium quality to ensure the optimum performance of your engine, without overheating.
