GMC Power Programmer
Adding horsepower and torque to your vehicles is a walk in the park. No need for a set of wrenches like the old days. At present, with computer-assisted automobile, all you need is a small box called a performance chip, specifically a GMC Power Programmer.

The power programmer or performance programmer is one of the kinds of performance chips which can boost your vehicle’s performance. It is designed primarily to raise engine power by optimizing the ignition and fuel system of the vehicle to bring out the best horsepower and torque possible. It works to replace the engine control unit but with more features. Because the people who manufactured the power programmer were not limited on issues like the vehicles reliability, emission controls and mileage like the car manufacturers are, they can use more aggressive settings in the fuel maps. The power programmer as a self-contained tuning computer will decode all information taken from your VIN to come up with a program that is precisely tailored to your vehicle. After tuning it will automatically install the program and allow you to access and reprogram the vehicle's computer to function properly with aftermarket components such as non-stock tire sizes and rear-end gear ratios. It reprograms your truck’s computer to optimize the air/fuel ratio, remap the transmission shift points and increase the top speed of the limiter.
GMC Power Programmers have specific features that can enhance your vehicle, and everything is based on the type of vehicle you have. But, in some states like California power programmers cannot be legally used on highways but only on racing circuits and off-roading. And fueling with E85 is not recommended in conjunction with power programmers.
